Default Powder or plain?

I have a 1989 trx250r that I just had the motor totally rebuilt ground up, and before I put it back in I need to know something. It has fac Honda plastic with lights and all. never raced and no cracks or rewelds on the frame. I plan to get rid of it soon and am not sure if I am better off powder coating the chassis or leaving it orig. to show the true original condition. The orig. paint is faded and shows some wear with a little surface rust. Any opinions before I make more work then necessary? Would you rather buy one with fresh powder coated frame or one that is orig and you can see that it has not been abused?

I would have to think that it would be worth more in the origina condition. Most vehicles and all collectable items are. If the new owner wants it powder coated then he can do it.

I would go ahead and have it powder coated while its apart. Take a few pictures of the frame to show its condition before its redone. You'll be able to get more money out of it when you resell it. thats for sure. Who wants to buy a quad then have to tear it all apart to have the frame done? I sure wouldn't.
