Default Windshield on a SxS

I just purchased a Linhai 400 and purchased the windshield. Put it on myself(with assistance), which was a pain. The dealer told me I should probably take it off before traveling down the interstate, but it seems to really be on there good. Anyone else do this?

I told him the place I would typically ride it was only 25 minutes away on backroads, so I probably would not exceed 55-60 mph. But I may take it on longer trips where I need to use the interstate.

It sure helps when going thru the woods to keep stuff from slapping me in the face and I figure when the temps drop or rain I will be glad I have it. Taking it on and off will not be an easy task as it took two of us to put it on.
