High Octane Fuel - Where do you buy it?
#2
Go to a local track. Drag circle Atv whatever ask around some one will tell you of a good suplier.
I run 91 in an 11.5:1 engine at 4500 ft without any problems. You should be fine. Octane is how they measure a fuels resistance to detonation. The higher the octane the slower burning.
If you listen to every one the say it helps or it doesnt. It really shouldnt help "make power" unless you have a preignition problem then it will help this and make it appear to create power. In reality all it is doing is curing a compression or timing problem. Racers run high octane to stop detonation in their High compression engines. Not to make power

I believe there is a "store" over in Carrollton,Tx. that sell High Octane gas, it's on 35E on the service rd. next time I drive by I get the name. It use to have under ground pumps like a gas station but I guess they had to remove those. It's between Valwood & Beltline on the east side
