I am changing out my factory pipes on my banshee to a set of procircuit and I am trying to decide whether to get the factory sound silencers or the spark arresters. Does anyone know the difference in DB levels and if the arresters cut power at all.

I dont know much about the spark arrestors. I have the silencers. All I can say is you wont be disappointed. Hang on!

do the silencers make the loud ping noise.. I am not sure which way to go b/c I love that factory race sound but at the same time I want to be able to ride in more areas.

The pinging noise comes from the pipes themselves. The silencer puts out a nice deep sound when you get on the throttle. Again I cant say much for the spark arrestors. Hope this helps somehow.
