k&n filter on a stock 2004 blaster

Default k&n filter on a stock 2004 blaster

hey guys i am going to put a k&n air filter on my stock blaster with about 20 ish hours, can i just drop a filter in and go or do i have to jet the carb up alittle i also plan to do a outer wear and run no air box lid, will i have to jet the carb at all? thanks alot answers asap would be nice thanks

Hi Sir, you probably don't have to rejet but you probably could go up one size on the main jet. Hope I could help, good luck!

if u jus put a filter on theres no need to rejet... but if u put on a outerwear and take off the airbox lid id recomend rejetting because stock jets might not allow full potential.

You'll need to go up at least one size on the main for just the k&n

You'll need to go up 3-6 sizes on the main for the k&n with airbox lid removed.

Well actually you don't need to, it'll run fine, for about a week................ Rejet it for god sakes......
