air box

yea the only thing you guys left out is that the air cleaner gets dirty faster, you can buy round little plastic circles with filter material in the middle. you remove your air box so you dont drill through the air cleaner, drill holes 1/2 and the mini filters just pop in. there cheep and easy , and if you do it rite you dont need glue

If it is a 4 stroke, it will help out big time with more air.
The best way to do this is to drill 12-15 1/2 inch holes around the sides of the airbox in a circular pattern around the where the carbs mount. . Then tape small 1 to 2 inch pieces of wool inside between the holes. Make a clear plastic cover for your airbox. Go for a rip and watch the turbulance on the wool strings. The idea is to get the air to flow like a toilet bowl and dump into your carbs.
The best is to have a buddy or 2 that has the same bike. You will have to drill some more holes and/or tape up some holes to get this vortex effect. The end result will be a trashed airbox unless you are lucky out of the shoot. The idea is to get a hole number/spacing/location then you can split the cost of the airbox with your buddies and you will have a perfect template.
