Jetting with new pipes
#1
I have a '99 banshee and just put on pro-circuit pipes/silencers, boost bottle, reeds, reed spacers, 270 jets, and pro flow filter. It runs fine except one thing. When I have it in 6th gear flying down the dirt road at about 3/4 throttle everything is fine. When I open it up the last 1/4 throttle it gains no power and there is a deep toned sound coming from the air box. Is this normal? It doesn't bog down but the last 1/4 throttle I gain no power and the air box starts to (rumble?). Any suggestions?

My freinds banshee with pipes and clamp on filters along with other bolt on's did the same thing. My suggestion is just run it at 3/4 throttle. How do you like your pipes and filter. I just ordered the same thing for my 2000 banshee

Do you have the airbox lid off? I have a 99 with FMF fattys and I run 300 mains new needles and 30 pilots. No airbox lid. K&N filter with outerware. I ride at Glamis and your jetting will differ depending on where you ride. I don't have a topend problem like that.
