I installed a twist throttle on my 2000 Blaster.
according to the instructions the factory throttle
overide system must be disabled. I tried the
procedure listed in the instructions but it didn't
work. The thing wont start, looks like it's not getting a spark. Anyone know what to do at this
point?

Ok...mudman sounds like you've done this before. let me ask you this, which box under the hood is supposed to be disconnected and jumped? a chrome/silver box on the left(your left if you were face to face with the quad) or there are 2 smaller black boxes on the right. one of the right side boxes I traced the wires down to the clutch, both of the other boxes have there wires going into a bundle and it's hard to see after that.

if you just unplugged the wire under the hood it wont start because the ignition is now disabled. if they gave you a jumper just put it on the ends of the wire. if not your gonna have to cut the wires and tie them together. if alol that was done correctly pull the tors on top of the carb cap apart and makesure the switches arent stuck.
