anyone know a site that shows u how to install a pro desing kil swich. i know one wire needs to be grounded and the ohter gets taped into another wire...but which one. i got a yfz450.

 

Bottom plug on the CDI is a all white wire. Hot wire(long wire) goes there, and the ground wire(Short wire) gets grounded to the frame. Should have no troubles, mine works perfectly.

 

alright and where is the cdi unit on the yfz

 

It is the square box covered with a rubber boot attached to the frame under the front fenders it has three plugs (if I remember correctly) going into it. The white wire is on the bottom plug. The boot and CDI will slided off the tab on the frame.
