does anyone run without a airbox? i have a 400ex and at my first race every other quad there didn't have a airbox, they had a k&N filter and outerwear, which i have. how many jet sizes should i go up?

What other mods do you have? I don't run an airbox lid on my Banshee. I added pipes and silencers at the same time so I had to jump quite a few jets.

i have 7 1in. holes in my lid and have a pipe and a new carb for performance mods

Best way to determine jetting is by reading the spark plugs.
