banshee 2 carbs VS. 1 which is better?
why do dual carbs make more power? From what I understand the banshee doesn't use much gas, and a single 34 works well why would the duals make more power? I'm not saying your wrong im just asking, but it does make since even though the say one fires then the fuel travels to the next. The duals would feed more fuel in my eyes. I just wanna know why?

I haven't personally tried the single carb, however, the dual system works great when tuned right so why try anything else. I do know that most of the guys that have tried the single carb go back with twins. You have air signals and timing of waves that must be dealt with in a two stroke. I would think that a single carb that has to feed two cylinders wouldn't be able to work with the waves of two cylinders as easily as a carb per cylinder would.
Show me an engine builder (other than trinity, who has some messed up ideas anyway) that would prefer a single carb. So far, I haven't seen any.

Generally speaking two carbs work better for drag racing and top speed runs because they seem to creat a better top end. Two into one setups really help spread out the powerband and make the Banshee easier to ride. The Banshee has never been known for having any low rpm power, but the 2 into 1 carb setups change that. I'm running the Trinity CV carb kit with a single 33mm Keihin carb and I love it. If I were to do over that would be my first mod, get rid of tors and dual carbs and go straight to a single carb. Jetting is now a breeze! I also have a 2 into 1 dynoport pipe and my Banshee has an great easy to ride power band. I can lug it around in the tight woods just above idle. I highly recommend this setup for woods or MX. For duning or drag stick with the dual carbs.

banshee 2 carbs VS. 1 which is better?
thanks for all of the help I still can't think of what I want to do yet?? My brothers bike has the two into one and the real reason I like it is because its easy to jet, and thats really the only reason. I did the new carb tops and all of that on my carbs, but I just wanted to know what was better. Thanks for all of the help if anyone else has input on this topic id like to hear it.
