Default race gas?

I finally have my jetting where I want it on my bike but I am thinking of running a 50/50 mix of race gas and unleaded. Will I need to make any jetting changes for this combination or keep it where I run with my Super Unleaded? I want the motor to run a little cooler and was told race gas will help. Any info you guys have would help
later

You will need to rejet, race fuel will make your setup run lean.

just jet it up a little so it runs just a little rich when you regular gas when you run the 50/50 mix it will lean it out some. You will end up needing to rejet again im pretty sure. You can always try it and pull the plug and look at it. If it needs to be jetted you will just have to jet it. Try it and see what happens who knows it might not be to bad just running a 50/50 what kind of race gas are you going to end up running? 110 114? that will make a difference too.

im probably going to run 110 octane. I found a place that close to me that I can buy it by the gallon instead of buying it in the 5 gallon metal cans from motorcycle shops and places like that. The bike was very lean when I bought it and I seized the motor the second day out with it. I rebuilt in and went from a 172 to a 185 main. I took the cylinder off after a few riding trips to check the piston and it doesnt have any burn marks in it (last piston i burned a hole through the top) so i think my jetting is pretty good now. I am going to try a 190 and see how that works. I would rather be rich then lean. I just dont want to burn up another motor that is why im looking at race gas also.

do you know how to read a plug? That will tell you everything that you would ever want to know about your bike if you read it right.

yes I can read the plug. I just got a look at the piston cuz i took the cylinder off to be polished this winter. I have a good assortment of jets that are leaner then the 185 but I need to get jets to the richer side so I have them available out riding. I just wanted a starting point leaner or richer for the race gas mix.
