I would LOVE to use curtis for a p/v out of the box, but I would not be able to wait for it. I guess it is worth the wait. You can also get a cylinder unported from CT or ESR or LRD and have another company.

Thats a very good idea, get the cylinder from lrd then have it ported by cs...but lrd is also a very good cmpany! so i would try that out first.
but if i were you and had the money i would deffinatly try to get a cs p/v cylinder!his engines are unstopable...even his 4 stroke engines are crazy!!!
so call curtis sparks and see how long it will take him to get you a bigbore (pv) kit!jm $0.2

I have never really ridden a atv in a woods atmosphere. The origional post talked about woods and dune carving, which 2 completely different types of riding. As far as LRD, I had them do me a 300 Pro-X cylinder with their sleeve. My ported 250 outran that thing in every kind of race and from every gear. I took it to MP and now it runs cicles around my 250 (which it should).

Not to knock LRD, it seems like they make damn good MX/Woods motors, but they sure didnt do a good job for my sand bike. My 2 cents.
