hey, i have an '03 400EX and i'm tryin to break into the racing scene. what modifications will i need? i weigh about 200 lbs, and i have a really tight budget. i already have a tether kill switch, and new handelbrs, and a new exhaust pipe, what else do i need? what would you reccomend that i get first? thanx for ne help u can give.

 

You're probably going to be needing some nerf bars. Even if they're not required, it's definitely a good idea.

 

thanx, i already have a set. the quad that i'm talkin about modifying is the 400EX listed in my signature.

 

I would try racing in the amature class with it the way it is first then you can see what you need from the way you do in the race. You do not need any mods to race, you may find that you will do better with some mods but you don't have to have any just try to have fun.

 

Im with Hollywood on this one! Get some nerfs, one of the best investments you can start out with for safety. TINA
