Default banshee chain adjusters

I went to Pismo this last weekend and we were riding around and we started jumping off of a pretty good dune and I was getting some good air off of it. Next thing I know we stop and we are bsen and im looking over my bike and the chain is almost ready to fall off. I take a look at my chain adjusters and one of them is bent down and the other is bent down. I never have had a real problem with this before but it just kinda popped up out of no where and it ended my riding early. I know I could change the swing arm to a round housing, and all of that but I don't have the money to do that right now. That would also be a bonus because I wouldn't be stuck with the chain adjustment from hell on the stupid banshee's. Just wondering if this is a common problem on them or not.
