Should I get headers for a Raptor?

Default Should I get headers for a Raptor?

I just have slip-on right now. Think I would get any more top end? I already have a 11:1 piston, stage 1 cam, porting, no airbox. Are larger diameter headers better? Think they would just be a waste of money, I guess they would at least look cool.

well you will get less restriction and probaly get more power gains. just wonderin when you put the cam in did you notice a difference in sound. ussually when you put a cam in a quad it gives it a wiked sound and my friend put a cam in his raptor and it didnt do anything in sound. and ya i would definetly get a header. the header puts out more power than just a silencer alone and together you get a pretty good boost.

There wasn't a noticeable difference in sound after the cam, although a stage 1 is still fairly mild. I hoping it would sound different, but it doesn't, idles just like stock.

My stage 1 did make the exhaust noise change. I have a full ct pipe. Its got that lub lub sound, but not as much as on a smallblock.
