i see in forum alote of guys run with override trannys. my ? is where do you get them how hard is it to install and how much does it cost ?

An override tranny is a drag racing only modification. It enables you to shift with out the use of the clutch thus allowing you to stay in the throttle the entire time and not letting out too shift. It can cost anywhere from 250-450$ depending on who does it and how it is cut. Rudy at Port Magic pretty much invented this procedure and I consider him the best at doing it. Like I said though it is a drag racing only mod. Once you do it other riding is out of the question. When you let off the throttle, the clutch MUST be pulled in, and even to down shift the clutch must be pulled in.
