Id amagine that puting a banshee engine in an EX frame would be a challenge. the banshee's frame is shaped differenty than the EX is to allow room for the 2 pipes to come out. but im sure the EX frame can be modded to fit a banshee engine. id do some searching on the net to see if anyone has done this before. the steps i would take, is to see if you can find a shop, or someone who can do work on the frame and see what it would cost first. as for an engine...? ive seen quite a few on ebay, but always expensive! another factor is getting the pipes to fit right on the ex frame. that will require more modifications as well.you could go and find someone who has a banshee, or even to a dealer?? and examine the engine, and take some measurements of the engine including the pipes and motor-mounts, and carbs.......than go measure the EX frame and see what all would have to be Cut/ shifted/ bend/ shaved/ widened and such. its always good to find out this stuff first. with all that said, a banshee engine in the EX frame could prove to be a pretty awesome combination. im sure it could be done if you really wanted to!

Oh so you will be doing the frame work?? that can save you lots of money than! cool deal. and your most welcome for the advice. i dont know too much about custom work, but i am friends with a Atv/motorcylce custom fabrication shop not to far from here, so ive learned some cool stuff from them. im going to have them build me a Blaster with a yz250f 4-stroker in it. thats gonna be fun (if i ever get around to it) lol. those banshee engines are popular with builders and duners, so finding them cheap will be hard. are there any salvage yards near you? that can be a good place to look!!!!
