Banshee problems
#1
Ok I just rebuilt the top end and put new niks pistons in it, stock bore, they were honed and i put new boyesen power reeds in it.
When i rebuilt it spuddered and hesitated on low end. I made it better by raising the clip on the needle to lean it. It made it much better.
Now the other day i was going up a little hill with woops on it and when i got the to the top of it, the left cyclender sitting on it seems to cut out around 1/4 throttle and smokes blue alot more than the right.
Another problme with it is that the little sight glasses you look in the carb to sync them look fogged up or something. any ideas ??
Only mods are boyesen reeds niks pistons and fmf pipes.
Its a 97 Banshee.
Before i rebuilt it, it would only fire on the right cylinder. And it still pushes coolant out of the overflow.
thanx for the help
Left cyclinder also back fires where the right one doesnt

You do know that if you use the sight glass on the carbs you have to pull them to full throttle so you can see the marks on the carb slides. another thing you can do is look down the carbs with a flashlight to make sure they are opening at the same time. To me it sounds like your carbs pilot circuit is plugged up.
