I have learned how to keep my thumb from moving out of control like when I first started Riding. If I changed to twist I would be out of control.

It depends on what you're used to. I used to ride dirt bikes and 3 wheelers so either is OK. But my friend was only used to thumb on his Warrior so when he went over a small jump on my Banshee w/twist he lost control and crashed. I'm looking into converting back to thumb. In a nutshell, if you're used to one or the other, keep it. I wouldn't spend the money to switch to twist.

I prefer thumb. My friend a twist. My background involves lots of snowmobiles. His streetbikes. It just depends on what your comfortable with. Take some nice sized jumps and see what fits.

I had years of experience with a thumb throttle but then the cable broke so I just ordered a Motion Pro Twist.I love it.Takeit easy on your first small jumps then hit the big ones.I've done a lot of custuom modifications to help my throttle.

I prefer the twist over the thumb, it seems your thumb gets less fatigued when riding for hour's on end and i can hang on better!!!
