Levis 416 is fast. It will give a piped raptor a run for it's money, if not beat it. but I don't want to start a flame thread on raptor's vs 400ex's. Just simple white bros pipe. hot cams, High compression piston, cylinder bored out to a 416 all done by Madracing. And it also had what I think is the biggest thing you can do to a 400ex, The FCR carb!!!! You can take a bike with the same mods & no FCR carb & it won't stand a chance. And yes the FCR carb works awesome on 400ex's with just a pipe. I have a buddy with that set up to.

 

Yes that definately will make a big difference,as far as the 440 kit I know of 4 other guys that have been running it for over a year now with no problems(yet).Of course the more mods you do it has to affect the reliability of your engine. Also the cheapest way to make your quad faster and not affect the reliability is to change sprockets.GOOD LUCK.

Quadkrazy400ex how loud is your t-4 exhaust? Is it loud?

 

yes it is loud...i wish it was quieter. I ordered a quiet core and ill tell you when i get it on and how much difference it makes. when i hammer on the throttle without a helmet..which muffles it...makes my ears kinda hurt when it comes to the top of the powerband. although its loud its a good sounding pipe.

 

did you feel any performance gains?

 

Uhhh.........he's already got a full Pro Circuit system.

 

not really...i dont recommend buying aftermarket exhaust unless you are planning to do some engine mods. you will only gain 1 horsepower which is not recognizeable to you. i am planning on doing some engine mods like the above the 415 kit with the 10.8:1 JE piston.
