Is an amp link worth the extra 140 bucks or so

I have heard it was "the best bolt on performance part money can buy", but yet I do not see to many of them around

Everyone that I have talked to that owns one said they were a waste of money and would not recommend it. I have not bought one for that fact.

dirt wheels did a big reveiw of the amp link a while back on the 300ex. if you search on the net for amp link I think youll find it. anyways they said it was the best bolt on mod somethin or other. they supposedly have lap times of a 300ex stock, and with the link. the times with the link were a few seconds quicker. I think they also said that people that have problems with them were putting them on bikes that it was not designed for(like the 250r). the logic behind the whole thing sounds good, and dirt wheels sure made it sound good, but I couldnt see if theyre palms were greasy.
