Got a ESR temp gauge, what is a good or normal temp?????

Default Got a ESR temp gauge, what is a good or normal temp?????

It was running at 190-210 is this ok in 90 degree weather. cr500 motor in a quad. thanks

thats were my motor runs in the Trike on a ESR temp qauge. sometimes hotter just when putting around throught the dunes not racing the hill racing about 170 to 180

yea 210 to 220 when at idle and puting, but drops fast when I nail it. thanks 344pv

Get yourself some Redline Water Wetter and drop the temps. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Make sure to flush your system, then 4 oz/gallon of distilled water. It doesn't have anti-freeze capabilities.

i also run redline water wetter didnt see a change. you can get the gauge from ESR

yep, esr. I thought it was a waste of money ($85), but it saved me a top end ($250). so I guess it's worth it.

i would drop your temp down to 180. 200 is a little hot
