Anyone running it on there raptor? How hard was the install? What was the price of the kit? Where did you buy it from?

What would I need to do to my raptor to be able to run on straight alcohol or race fuel?

 

Question 1: They are about 800-1200 depending on the bottle. Boondockers is the best IMO. A friend of mine runs it and he said it wasnt too hard to do.

Question 2: What the heck for? Do you have a lot of money to blow or something???

You dont run on race fuel because you can, you do it because you have to. High comp needs high octane.

You need to make some major carb adjustments to run alky. You will also burn about 2 times the fuel. I dont know of many raptors on alky, but there are quite a few honda and bomb guys who could help you out on just what needs to be changed on the carbs to run it.

 

go boondockers, i ran it on my warrior and it only took about 2 hrs to install, very reliable system, all you need is a full drill index and air tools, or a dewalt or something with a long lasting battery, the nozzle installs into the air filters, you have to run K&N though, stock filters wont work.

 

For running alcohol, double your main jet, get a high flow Petcock from Holley, and you'll need a bigger vent tube for your gas tank, and you'll be set. It burns cooler and a lot cleaner, and you'll gain a lot of HP.

just putting in my 10cents but my friend was gonna install a nitrous express kit on my pred for only 400 bucks and he a nitrous expert and isntalls them every week.

 

does it spray in front of the carb or after??

 

Banshee smoker the boondocker is a ajustment into your airbox threw a vent.. So it would go into your carberator after it goes threw your arifilter

 

I was asking mrzeedler, Im familiar with the boondocker kit. the N>E kit sprays after the card wich is a very unrelible kit and is harder to set up rite. also has alot more components.
