I've been rebuilding my rappy and breaking in my new utility. I'd be a lot happier man if I spent as much time riding as I do repairing and improving. I guess thats the price you pay to race and go faster. My summer sand drag series starts in mid may.
have a good one and good luck at the drags

Stock GSX-R 1000 - 151whp/82tq (I've seen as high as 157whp dynos)
Stock GSX-1300r - 158whp/99tq (I've seen as high as 162whp dynos)
Yes, the 1300 makes more power, but more importantly it makes more torque. However, the 1000 engine is a *lot* lighter as is the bike it goes into. A GSX-R 1000 will out-accelerate a Hayabusa handily until about 160mph where aerodynamics start taking over.
That said you're also wrong about the power the 'busa will make with a turbo. It is possible to make in the area of 480hp with pump gas out of a Hayabusa motor, with fair reliability. Bad voodoo.

Who knows who has the fastest quad but I know of a guy that owns Darnell Racing that has a built 1200cc I believe snowmobile engine in his. .. .the bike's name is Sylvester. .anyone know him. . he's out of Springfield, Missouri. . I've seen him run many times out at Waynoka and I have yet to see him get beat. . but I know he also runs out at Glamis too. .dont know how he's doing against some of the big boys. . if you havent seen his "fleet" of bikes. . its really something to see. .

Mike Goodales gsxr is far from stock. Its 1500cc's that puts down a dyno proven 600 horsepower. It started out as a 1000cc's for the weight savings and has been bored/stroked to 1500. I dont even know why i try to correct you...
Goodale is the fastest bike in the country. Again, this isnt debatable so quit your sniveling. If you dont have a time slip to prove your statement then you need to keep your nose out of a thread that you dont belong. Goodale has ran a 3.12 in 100 yards. Thats .3 faster then anybody else in the country and he does it consistantly. What makes you think a guy can just build a busa and run those times? If it were possible dont you think Mike or anybody else would be running even faster? HE RUNS THE GSXR BECAUSE ITS FASTER
