Default Banshee aftermarket carbs-throttle cable

Hey. . I'm sticking some keihin carbs on my banshee and getting rid of all the electrical junk that come stock but I'm not 100% sure what I need to do about my throttle cable. .I want to stick with the thumb throttle instead of twist but a guy from motion pro said that i couldnt. .which i think is totally wrong. .I'm just trying to figure out what i need to do about the 1 into 2 cable the banshee needs. . any help would be greatly appreciated. .thanks

I was in the same boat. I removed th TORS from my carb and couldn't get a cable. I ended up having to order a twist throttle kit.
There are a few places that you can get cables. http://www.vitosperformance.net/ has a whole kit to remove the TORS that can come with cables if you need them.
I also e-mailed motion pro and told them my set up (what size carb and thumb blah blah) and then mailed me back with a part number that will fit that set-up.

HOpe this helps

I just bought and installed a new throttle cable on my Banshee with Keihin 34 PJ carbs. I bought it from Carb Parts Warehouse, $35 plus $8 shipping. It is a Motion Pro cable, works great with my stock thumb throttle.

Terry Cable

These guys are great. Any application, any throttle, any carb, any length. You name it, they will make it. Fast and pretty cheap as well. About 30 bucks for a +4 stainless steel braided throttle cable for my raptor. Excellent quality, I highly reccommend.

Yea, I bought a new Motion Pro cable that goes from the thumb throttle to the slides on my 34 PJ's. I have the P/N from the package out in the garage. Just call Carb Parts Warehouse, they will hook you up.
