i have a 250x and i want fst to bore my quad to a 280
he can just resleeve it for 100 extra dollars or for 700-800 dollars i can send it to him and he will do all the work. but what i was wondering is what exactly is the other work he would have to do to it besides resleeving it? did anyone else get thsi done to there 250x? is it reliaable?

Well... you need to ask him what he will do. Are you going through profabatv.com or something? If your gonna bore go big. Ive never went with a small bore. First bore I ever did was on my 300ex, and took it up to 406. The person I bought it from said the small borings are a waiste of money. But with that, he will bore, sleeve, piston(check what the comp is on it, if you want fast go with a 12.5+ compression, 11:1 is what most people use due to not having to use racing gas). Other than that I can't really tell you for sure.
