Default maintence?

I just got a 04 400ex. Its sweet. Im going to be taking it for the break-in maintence. Dont feel like bothering with valves. My question is after that do i have to take it in for regular maintence? Do the valves and other things need to be adjusted?

you shouldnt have to do too much maintence on it, i have a bunch of buddy with 400exs, and they dont do anything except oil changes. But of course, just like anything, theres gonna be occasinal things that will need to be fixed, but usually nothing major.

Power loss and excessive clattering from the head.
