maybe in a strait line your lt would beat any done out 4 stroke quad...but tosay 4 strokes suck is just plain stupid you must have forgot that your cars a 4 stroke...... and gee for some odd reason they put 4 strokes in crochrockets mmmmmmm ... why dont you try running with a stock r6 and see what happens..... 4 strokes are taking over wether you can except this or not ..... and to be honest i do enjoy riding banshees and 250r but your statemeant was just to much for me

 

sometime's i like to fan the flame's a little? we all have 4-stroke's that's what make 2- stroke's more fun to have.

 

i like older unregulated thing's of the past(i.e.freedom,car's,gun's & quad's) not the safe & sane b/s that get's made today to make people have a false sense of safety. "it must be safe,look at all the warning sticker's".

 

You never hear about a stock 250R. They've always got ALL KINDS of crap done to them. If you could still buy a stock 250R off the showroom floor, would you immediately go race mx and expect to do decently? I don't think so. The 450R, on the other hand, is a totally different story isn't it.

 

i just like the sport, my 310r will beat the pants off my 450r, but the 450r is just all around better, it starts up every kick and keeps up with most every one and is very comfortable. oh and by the way nice new pics bansheesmoker, hows the 500r holding up.

 

I can honestly say in my 20yrs of rideing I have rode about 90% of the quads/bikes ever made. and as it was stated earlier they all have their place. for example I would not want a 2-stroke utility quad for hunting. 4-strokes are just better at low speed handling. I also think 4-strokes are better for tight trails, I mean on a 2-stroke you don't really want to hit the throttle unless you are ready to fly. and also as for as tracks are concerned. if you get a real 2-stroke rider with the right set up the thumpers fall behind. If you think the pro riders are switching over because the 4-strokes are better you wrong. its called corrprit politics. hell honda don't want you on a 250r because their not on the market anymore. the factory spots want you ridding what they are selling.


4-stroke quads should come with fog lights to see through all the white smoke in front of them.

 

i own both and i must say my 250r is fast and i love to ride it but when i line up on my wife's raptor these 2-strokers think they are going to win and when i kick their a$$ the look on their face is priceless. they really think somethings wrong with their bike.

 

i like running my ds until i lose to some pretty fast banshee and then i reach under the seat and hit the nitrous switch, it's good for about seven quad length, that is pretty fun. it gets the 2 stroke guys coming over going i didn't know those would run like that.

 

lt500abuser, it says in ur pics bio that u own a few 4-strokes... you better hurry up and sell em since they suck so much.

 

the only 4 stroke i will own is a utility for hunting and work, but when i want to have some fun cant beat the 2 stroke, people mostley 4 stroke riders laugh at me for having a polaris 400sport but when i kick some azz they will just say stuff like they missed a gear
