What mods should I make to my stock Recon. I do mostly woods riding so I need alot of Bottom and Midrange power , though some Top end would be nice to. I have $850 to spend on it.

 

A tunable pipe, such as a Super Trapp and an after market filter would be a good start. Such a pipe can be tuned to the part of the band in which you ride, and another filter with some alteration of the airbox will allow the engine to breathe more efficiently. Any or all these components will require rejetting of the carburetor.
