how come we havnt seen a supercharger, centrifical supercharger or turbo kit for any quads. they do it on cars, trucks, semis, bikes. why not quads. i saw on the knowsalot post there was suposed to be something for a 400ex that was like a supercharger. but who knows if that whole knowsalot thing is real

There are turbo kits for quads. A company is making them for shee's. Search for turbo on this site and a link to the company will come up in the thread.
As far as the supercharger thing goes; there is a lot of problems with it. One is space, and a quad does not have much of that to spare. Another is where to run the belt off of. You need to couple it to the crank and this is hard to do on a quad. Another problem is weight. You not going to do much jumping or MX'ing with a supercharger on your quad. Sure, it would work great for a drag race, but not everybody wants to "just" drag race all the time.

There are turbo systems out there. I have seen them for the 400EX, Raptor, Banshee, Predator, and DS650. Hiper Tech is one company. Areocharger has them too. So does KMS and trick racing. There are several turbocharged DS's and Raptors on these forums.
