i thought i would post this here two since some of you dont get to the kawaskai page. I got my supertrapp pipe on and my clam on air filter. man it rips. i put a 145 main in it and left the pilot alone. it sounds as though its ruinning good its not racing at all. but the head pipe did get pretty hot pretty quick. but then again it doesnt have a heat shield like the stocker. i had to put a peice of rubber inbetween the expansion chamber and the fram because it would have rubbed. man it has a nice sound though and i can now whellie in third. i could barely wheelie in second before. how do you do plug checks? i heard that you have to keep it at the rpm that you want to check it at and kill it with it at that exact range by pulling the clutch in simentanialisly. si i check it at idel, 1/4, half, 3/4 and full right?

 

Congratulations on the pipe and filter..... The plug check is easy. Go some place were you can run it full throttle, let the engine warm up, then put your new plug in and take it for one full throttle run, shut it off and look at the plug... If your jetted right, it will look tan or light brown....
