Just a couple questions for EFI mods:

1. Has anyone installed a clutch kit and how did it affect performance?

2. Can air filter and exhaust be changed, with EFI compensating for increased air flow?

3. Has anyone heard of any rumors of aftermarket companies trying to make programs for EFI?

I also own a 700 Efi and have looked for mods. Only thing I've found so far is the tuned exhaust by white bros and heel clicker clutch kit. I want to know more about these mods before I install them. If I find anything I'll post it on here.

 

I know that one of the aftermarket companies that makes CDI's and other electronic enhancement for EFI motorcycles just released something for the 700 EFI. I can not think of the name of it right now. It is a well known company though

 

How intelligent is the ECM on the 700EFI? Will it recognize additional air, and adjust the fuel accordingly? I've always put aftermarket exhausts on my Quads, with new Filters and jet kits, but this thing is completely foriegn to me. I'm hoping adding the better filter system, and maybe a dual exhaust will not simply be bolt on beauty.....

I am new in this sport. Just got my 1st quad in March.The site you are looking for is www.powercommander.com. I just got mine yesterday. Installed it last night. It took 20 min. They told me it would work better with aftermarket exhaust. Still researching clutch kits and exhaust. Not sure what to do. I will let you know how it works. I plan on going for a ride on Sunday depending on Ivan.
