i was just wondering what is the difference between a motorcycle chain and atv chain

ones 530, motorcycle and quad 520..the motorcyle one is much stronger[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

This isnt real technical, but it'll give you a good basis. The first number- (5 in 520 or 530) tells the pitch(?) of the chain, or how far apart the rollers are from each other, A #50 Farm chain will roll on a 520 sprocket- as will a 530. The 20 and 30 numbers tell the width of the chain, but im not sure if thats the link plates or the rollers or an overall measurement. Bigger the number basically the heftier the chain.
