I got a 400ex and I can't decide what pipe to get
can anyone help
I want one that is pretty loud but not as loud as a cobra pipe
I don't want to spend over $250
I think I want a pro circuit t4 or a fmf megamax I have never heard either of them
can anyone give some info on these pipes

i run a fmf power core4 on my wifes bike and its fairly loud . i had to get a quiet core to pass a sound test. loud is not always fast.

 

also the t-4 and ct are suposed to be some of the best pipes for 400ex's

 

I have a Megamax on mine with 20 discs and it's about as loud as I want to go. It's still quite a bit more quiet than the HMF, Sparks, PC and some of the others. With the Megamax, a Powerbomb header and K&N filter I out ran a stock Z400 so I'm guessing it added maybe 4 or so horsepower.

 

you outran a z400? man i iwsh my ex could i run a white brothers e-eries with k&n filter and jet kit and my dad runs a z400 with trinity exhaust and k&n filter and jet kit the trinity is loud but the e-series is a nice pipe
