I have a stock 88' R on am putting on a K&N, .010 Wiseco, CR head gasket, and an FMF fatty & silencer.
The cylinder is getting bored now and I want to have an idea on what jets I will need on hand to get it tuned this weekend. Everything else is stock, including the carb.
I am at 800ft above sea level (85 degree air).
Right now the slow jet is a 42 and 152 main. I feel comfortable jetting, just want to know the ball park, thanks.

P.S. I will be starting off with stock jetting and test it there first.

I would NOT break my engine in on the stock jetting!! If anything, have it rich during break in!!! Try 3pin from the top on needle, and about a 165 main... keep a close eye on it!

I would go 4-5 sizes larger in the main and 1-2 needle positions richer. You can always work your way to more lean settings. When breaking a new top end in, there is more friction which makes more heat until the rings seat. Hey that rhymed.
