air/fuel mixture screw = pilot jet?

 

and also, since i'm supposed to be turning this little thing 3.5 turns out for my new pipe, will i have to replace it? because according to here (http://www.exriders.com/techarticles/jetting.html) if you have to turn it out more than 2.5 turns then you should replace it with the next size up. also is adjusting the needle that big of a deal? it says in that same article that adjusting that isn't a very common practice and i'm assuming they're teaching you how to adjust the air/fuel screw because of some mods (pipe, filter, ect)
