powroll.com has a 330 for the 300ex. That piston can go on the 250x but the stock stroke is smaller so it is 313 I think. There is also a 352 stroker for the 300 and I think that can go into the 250 but not sure what you get.

There work is awsome. our 305 and 440 stroker are from there shop. Not a single problem with the engines.

they have the 313 kit for the 300ex the displacement would increase in the 250x due to the shorter stroke and do you think it would it be very unreliable because the 250x cyclinder is smaller then the 300ex i don't really want it to become that i do do alot of HARD riding on my 250

We have there 305 kit on our 282cc'd 300ex. I have ridden that quad till the oil boiled, and it still runs like new. After I had it on the track and boiled the oil my wife kicked me off her quad. I recommend anything Powroll sells.

I think the 352 bore /stroke kit is the ideal kit for the 250x/300ex. It will get you close to a 400ex in terms of power as long as you use big valves ,race port, large carb, cam. Powroll and FST have this kit.

Yeah the 352 wails, but bring the money. I have seen a 352 out run piped 400ex's on a short flat-track.

Our 300 is ran in a 350 four-stroke class and the class voted out 352's. You can't sand bag that engine either, it is way to obvious.

Your right about the money. Its a better idea to sell the 250x and get a 400cc quad. It will be cheaper and more reliable.
