I have an ArcticCat500-Auto 2001. I NEED to have it quieter because of where I ride. Even if I loose a bit of power, is there a way to make it much quieter?

I don't know what your exhoust looks like, but if you can add a piece of something, to aim the output of the exhaust pipe down at the ground it will quiet it.
Mabie a piece of hose or something.

 

I'm not sure if you can get quiter than stock? Does the clutch make alot of noise?

 

It's just the general noise of the engine. I'm not sure if it's the clutch or what. It sounds like an 500 ATV. I just need it still quieter.
Is there nothing I can wrap or replace to make it quieter. I'm not technically savvy re motor engines. I could try that bit of downward hose...
