I don't know the case on the grizzly, but I can talk about the 400ex. Web has 5 cams and hot cams only offers 2. You can get the power curve where you want it, having more choices. You prolly want bottom end pull, but try to keep some top-end power also. Talk to both manufacturers about there specs.
I have a web in my 440 stroker and the cam is a very important part of how my quad runs. It has so much bottom end it is almost crazy.

I don't know about about web cams but I did some inquiries about the Hot cam for the grizz. The tech line told me to expect about 10% power increase over stock with the largest gain from mid to full throttle. Web cams didn't return my e-mail and there web page recomends using a high compression piston. Myself I am going with the hot cams just because I didn't get any feedback from web cams. Keep me posted though on which one you decide to buy and how much of a difference it made.

Thanks for that info Sparky660,I heard that hotcams would be a better choice..But do you have website for them so I can check it out and get some pricing..One more question when you talked to them did they mention anything about changing the timing chain(going bigger)or bigger valves...

The link ishotcamsinc.com. They said that the cam would work fine with the stock valves and timing chain. How did the cdi work for you? Did it make a real difference in the power department?

Sparky660 that new cdi and rectifier was excellent. It pulled off the line smooth.Felt the low end power and if I saw correctly I was reaching 30-40mph quicker than stock..When I tested it around the house,my neighbor was asking me why is the front end raising like that.I told him, hey it's ready to release that power she has...

That sounds pretty cool. I think I'll be putting the hi-compression piston and the hot cam in the grizz next week. I figure if you have it apart to change the cam go to the extra effort and slap the piston in there. Next month I think I'll try that cdi your talking about. I think I'll have to rename the grizz to brute force slayer after these mods.
