Hello all. I'm curious if someone will run down their cleaning process with this foam filter for me. Do you oil the slip on second stage and the yellow body filter too? I've used the aerosol spray foam cleaner(PJ1) but it sure takes at least a can to clean it, more actually. Is there something better or more cost effective to clean it?

Thanks for your help,

Jason

I normally use a grease-cutting dishwashing detergent like DAWN. As cheap as it is, you can clean the filter often, keeping the filter from getting too dirty while keeping power at it's maximum. I have never used that type of filter, but it seems that if you only oil the outer layer, and make sure the intake tube stays clean, you should be OK.
