Default 05 Raptor - more power

I just got an '05 Raptor and I want more low end and mid range power without going crazy on modifications. Thinking about a silencer. I don't see any listings for '05 model. Is it the same as earlier models or do I just have to wait. Any recommendations?? I'm looking at the Big Guns Race or White Bros. Is Bill's Pipes any good? Thanks for any help. Tranniedoc@cs.com

The yoshi is more of a top end pipe.

Most slip ons will give you low end gains with small gains on peak hp. They gytr header is great for low end as well.

You must rejet with a pipe install and you would benefit from a new air filter as well, even if you leave the lid on the airbox.

A slip on is only the silencer, the canister on the end of the pipe. A full system includes a head pipe from the engine to the canister and the canister as well.

The Yoshimura is a top-end pipe. I ran a Big Gun slip on with no jets or filter, and it made a considerable difference. Now that I run the full system with jets and filter, I am not extremely impressed with the pipe. The CT full system makes a 12 hp gain over stock, and adds a lot of low end torque and improves the rev range. Dirtwheels did a pipe shootout for the raptor two years ago, I think. I still have the issue, I'll have to check it. You can probably search their Web site.
