Pipes suppertrapp or cobra
#2
Each one has their detractors as well as their boosters. Personally, I have heard more positive comments and fewer negative ones regarding the Supertrapp. I run a Supertrapp silencer behind a Curtis Sparks pipe and am happy with the performance. As you may know, Supertrapp is the originator of the tunable muffler, so if experience counts for anything....

I put a Cobra exhaust on my Mojave, it made a world of difference! The fit was supurb, installation was 10 minutes maybe, but it's LOUD. Also, it was cheap, header pipe and muffler for $130.
Although, if you want the ability to tune, I suggest SuperTrapp. They may be a pain to tune at first, but overall a much more versatile exhaust.

In all of the dyno tests I've seen, the Supertrapp systems come out on top, or close to the top, and the Cobra systems come out towards the bottom.
When you read the info on most of the Cobra pipes, they just mention they are designed for "replacement", not performance.
Although some people don't like the disk system on the Supertrapp, because it gets the plastic dirty, or can get packed with mud, Supertrapp has taken care of those problems with the IDS system.
