Ok, I just ordered a new 250ex from my local dealer and want to have everything to make it race ready by the time it gets here!
I am thinking about getting works shocks, an FMF pipe, holeshot MX tires and douglas beadlocks rear and radials up front, +2" a-arms, and a real race quad.
What a crock, a 250ex, what is honda thinking?

Okay the new honda is defiantly honda's best quad yet I mean they designed it for us high-performance people I mean just look at it 5 inchs of suspension,air-cooled four stroke motor and wannabee 400ex plastic. This thing is like so cool it is almost as cool as my garden tractor
This quad is absolutely of low tech design and it won't even be as good as a blaster.
Well hats off to honda for creating another low tech quad.

this is not a racing quad. why don't you just race a yamaha breeze. or a suzuki 160!

I actually traded in my breeze for the 250ex. It was totally race ready, I had about 10grand in it. AXIS shocks, full laegar chassis, bored and stroked to 200cc's, Supertrapp pipe, AC nerfs, turf tamers and rikens, etc etc etc.

I was joking!!! As I still am.

They are thinking of their stockholders and moving the company forward. What did you want them to release? Did you write them to express your thoughts? Are you going to now? Or, just wait and see what they decide to do next?

Bubba...Do the math:
2-stroke vs 4-stroke Of course the 250ex won't be as good as the Blaster, but that is only when it has no mods on.

Come on you guys, the 250ex is just a beginers level quad. You would have to spend way to much to get it race ready, and then it still wouldn't do you any good againest the big boys.(660r,400ex,DS,Banch,andCan.)Don't get me wrong they are fun little mach.,but to race I don't think it would be wearth it.I know because I got my (9) year old son one.He loves it!

the 250ex is a good BEGINNER machiene, however it would be a total waste of your money to prep it for racing.
