Don't go any longer than +2 for MX. That's as long as you need. Any longer and it will look like a boat and handle pretty bad.

I've tried the 2in. and I liked it. I just ordered a 3in. from Vito's but the workmanship was poor so I am waiting for a replacement. I am going wider on the rear so I think the 3in. will work great. I am 6"1' and need the leg room. I also ride a Banshee and would like the wheelbase similar.

YEAH RIGHT!a blaster with a -1 or -2 swingarms, it would be impossible to keep the front end down, especially if you have engine work.

In a dirtwheels article a while back, 200cc Air-cooled champ Mike Haas had a -2 swingarm with +1 or +2 arms to make up the difference. The ideas is to shift the weight around and change the handling both in the air and on the ground.
