Default 727 Raptor piston......

Im looking for a 11:1 or so compression 105mm piston for the raptor. Where is a good deal on them? So far i have only found the trinity stage 4 for 250$ish. Any better brands or places for this 727 piston?-----Rider1169

Lots of happy craycraft and kenz people on here. I'm sure either place could help you out.

yeah get ahold of kenz or craycraft, PM if you want their number. I dont recommend the trinity, for one reason, trinity has all of its pistons matched to trinity heads. the top part of the head is shaved to get the correct comression.

i dont know how set you are on going for the 727 but i personally think that you souldnt go for the 727 unless you dont plan on having your quad for a while. or two are going only for drag. Go with the 686 just in case you had some kind of accident and blew your motor. I know its nothing easy like blowing a motor on a 2stroke but just in case you switched twice down because of a bump or something. You know that way you at least got a backup plan besides new motor.

Default 727 Raptor piston......

Well, im building it up for a senior project. Im just looking for a piston under $250.

Whole 727 project parts list

-Local machine shop 727 bore
-LA sleeve 105mm 727 sleeve
-11:1 727 piston (not determined what brand or from who)
-Modded stock carbs
-Wiseco crank shaft
-Wiseco Connecting rod
-Hotcams stage 2
-Kibblewhite Titanium valvesprings
-Mild port job
-And all the little fill-ins

Ill be using it just for rec use, fast trails, track, dunes, whatever. I hopefully will be able to smoke a few buddies when its all set up.
