2 stroke - tie between LT500 and Banshee

4stroke - I really dont know havent heard enough to say. I do love the sound of my megamax on my wolverine its a nice roar but not overly obscine. Kind of just right for me. Havent really heard many piped raptors in these parts.

 

i pulled the pipe off my 250 ex and ran it open manifold. Judging by the color of the blood flowing from my ears i think it might not be legal. Just revved it 1ce or 2ce to see for fun. I thought it would break something.

 

2-stroke=piped Banshee
4-stroke=KFX 700 with HMF

 

bl4cksh337 could u get any pics of ur dads raptor w/ that custom pipe? what did he make it from...im gona make a custom baffle for m dg pipewhen it gets here n i want somewhere 2 start, just some ideas. -thanks - fanninator

4-stroke = 450r w/White Bros Carbon fiber
2-stroke = RM125 W/Pro Circut or for a quad a Scrambler 400 believe it or not sounds good with a pipe

 

What is the best sounding stock quad (no aftermarket modifications). I am only wanting to get a 4-stroke.

 

fannator sorry i cant geet any pics for about another 4 months. My dads in gorgia so we moved into an apartment and put the quads at my grandparents house for safe keeping. But its well over 100 dbs. Its definately louder than any raptor ive ever seen and the power is incredible. Its also huge. Its an inch and a half wide and gos to about 5-6 inches to the silencer then gets to about 4.5-6 inches wide and connects to the silencer which is absolutelely huge. It has to be somewhere at 5 inches wide. And my dad didnt make it though. When he bought it the guy had a shop make it. It doesnt have a very good finish on it though. It rusted a little and doesnt look very well. But mechanically its fine and it has clean welds and the pipe was made smoothly. Sorry if that didnt spark and ideas. I would get you pics.

 

Banshees do sound nice but other two strokes sound like pissed off weed wakers! the best sounding would be a YFZ-450 with a yoshimura TRS pipe. REAL MOTORS HAVE VALVES!!!
