I own a 00 Trailblazer, and am considering installing a 650 indy triple, but i hate the way the pipes are gonna have to stick out. If i lived near dunes, i wouldn't care, but since i don't, i'm afraid a tree will quickly stave em all to hell, since i'll have to take trails to get to the dirt roads i love to terrorize. Anyone know where to have custum pipes built fairly reasonable? Thanks (i was just toying with the idea till my cousin give me a rebuildable motor)

Hot Seat Performance is building custom Polaris quads with 440cc-700cc twin-cylinder, two-stroke powerplants with up to 130HP! Call Hot Seat at 1-(651)-982-0600 to get more info or go to www.hotseatperformance.com I personally think that the triple will be MUCH TOO WIDE!!

I think you might be right about the width and keeping it cool, so I think I'll rebuild it then sell it and buy a twin. Either way, I won't be behind any more Raptors or banshees!! ( or even warriors, for that matter!!)

Yeap, way too wide. I measured a Vmax4 (4cyl, 750 2 stroke) and it's...44" wide (with the belt) (if I remember well).

You seem to be interested in "real" machines.
Do you know how people put 680 Rotax cylinders on a banshee, do they have to change the crank or if they adapt the clutch to the 680 engine?
