I have a 05 z400 and I made up my mind to get a yoshi pipe. My question is should I get the comp series or pro series? Is the pro-series worth the extra couple hundred dollars? I just have air filter, 15 t front sprocket, and jets on my quad. Thanks for the help!

 

The comp series, from what I know is about 430$ on rockymountainatv, and yoshi makes a trc carbon fiber pipe that is designed like the tri-oval and its only 500.....thats what im going to get

 

All the carbon fiber does is saves weight they all make the same power. the TRS is designed to be quieter the the comp. so don't waist your money on the carbon fiber or TRS unless you want it to be quiet.

 

Hold on I was wrong I was just looking on rockymountainatv and the comp series is 400 out the door. Like he said really the only difference is the material each pipe is made out of which saves about 2 pounds. But I think I have changed my mind into getting the comp series because I can save an extra 100 bucks over the trc and 200 over the pro series which I can use to put toward handlebars that I bent when I cased a jump and smacked my face against the bars. I was wearing a helmet, but it was loose and the chin flew up and my chin face smacked the bars. I was lucky not to be missing any teeth even though I thought I was because my mouth was numb lol....just a fat lip for 2 weeks

 

like what was said before i'd go with the comp series and use the extre cash you saved for some thing else you want

 

i would have to agree with the comp i have the trs on my quad its a good pipe and a little light and quieter but if your not concerned about tht id go with the comp series

 

i think comp is best
