What is a good project quad??
#1
I want to start a project quad for myself, I would like to modify it for the dunes. I want a quad that is not too expensive to build. My choices are Banshee or 250R, I know a shee will be faster, and have more power with the twin. I want to be able to beat a stock Quadzilla, so I know engine mods are gonna be a little heavy, I am not in a rush to build it, I will take my time and do things right. I know I can do this, I've worked on quads for over 6 years now, I'm no punk teenager I'm in my 20's so I'm not spending mommy and daddys money like some people on here. What do you think is a good project quad?? Thanks for any info.

Yep, modded banshees are neat. But there are a LOT of them.
Im thinking of maybe a 700 or 800 twin polaris sled engine in a scrambler frame

Now that would be cool, theirs lots of sleds up here in Canada.
What about a 250R frame with a CR500R motor?? I dont think it would be easy but anything can be done
